GIGABYTE introduces new amazing z790 AORUS XTREME X ICE motherboard

In the past few weeks, the GIGABYTE motherboard team has been hard at work. Not only have they only recently released their refresh of the 700 series boards, but they have also been introducing a lot of new AMD boards, such as the B650 Aorus Elite AX ICE, a white AMD board featuring white PCB and support for the latest Ryzen 7000/8000 processors.

However, the GIGABYTE team recently did something never seen before… They have designed and introduced their AORUS XTREME X board but with white and gold accents. Introducing the Z790 AORUS XTREME X ICE!.

Z790 AORUS XTREME X ICE

The new Z790 AORUS XTREME X ICE motherboard is the newest super high end motherboard to exit the AORUS foundry. It features an absolutely gargantuan screen build into the IO cover, allowing you to display real time info about your system, such as temperatures, power usage, fan speeds, system usage stats, or anything you can think of.

The Z790 AORUS XTREME X ICE is very similar to the already popular Z790 AORUS XTREME X, both of which feature 10G LAN, Thunderbolt 4, 4 M.2 Slots, PCIe Gen 5.0, and RAM speeds of up to 8266Mhz! The board takes the E-ATX form factor, meaning it will require a larger case to accommodate. The M.2 cover on the bottom of the board features a crystal like look, a perfect match for any prestige looking system.

The Z790 AORUS XTREME X ICE is fit for any king! Being adorned with gold, this makes the board a perfect match for a mesmerising gold and white PC build, especially a water cooled build using EKWB Gold Fittings.

RTX 4080 SUPER AORUS XTREME ICE

The board will fit perfectly with a recently announced graphics card, the RTX 4080 AORUS SUPER XTREME ICE, an absolutely stunning, white version of the RTX 4090 AORUS MASTER, including white fans, crystal and gold accents, and of course, a customisable screen.

The RTX 4080 SUPER AORUS XTREME ICE will be the most powerful 4080 SUPER in all of GIGABYTE’s line-up, and potentially could be the most powerful of all the 4080’s releasing… But we will have to wait and see.
